Getting going with Drypoint

Getting ready to do some monoprints and drypoint prints.

I went with Lorraine Bewick to a one day workshop on making “Drypoint” prints at the Arts Centre in King’ Lynn. It was very instructive. There were nine students altogether and I was the only bloke.

My etching press is  now in Lorraine’s studio and the inks, papers and other sundries have arrived. I chose to start with Caligo Safe Wash printing inks in blue-black and sepia. Pictures of progress to follow shortly.
